Activism CAN make a difference......

Sometimes it's hard trying to do your bit by way of a little activism in politics, the co-op movement, or a trade union. It can be frustrating. People can be difficult. It can seem like there's such a mountain to climb and you are making so little progress so slowly. Then you are reminded of people who are simply an inspiration and to be imitated. One was the late Alf Morris. It's telling that he was respected across the political spectrum as well. The Telegraph obituary also shows the ups and downs and compromises that come along the way and that there are always difficult choices in democratic politics. Keep the faith........
